How to Cite CFMI in Publications

If you collected data at the CFMI, please be sure to cite the facility in all resulting publications, abstracts, and presentations. Proper citation helps us demonstrate the scientific value of CFMI and supports future research infrastructure.

When describing MRI data acquisition at CFMI, here is a sample of technical details to include in the Methods section:

“Participants were scanned on a 3T Siemens MAGNETOM Prisma scanner at Georgetown University’s Center for Functional and Molecular Imaging, using an N-channel head coil.”

Please replace N-channel with the actual coil used for your study (e.g., 64-channel, 32-channel, 20-channel).

If your study used any special hardware, software, or pulse sequences provided by CFMI, please consult with CFMI staff to ensure proper description and citation.

Please send a citation or PDF of any publications that include CFMI data to cfmi-scanning-team@georgetown.edu so we can include it in our research archive.
